Description

This ice door motor drives the dispenser's ice chute door, opening to let ice out and closing to seal the chute. Replacing a worn motor restores proper door movement and helps reduce warm-air leaks and frost around the dispenser.

• Opens and closes the dispenser ice door (flapper) during use
• Helps keep the ice chute sealed between dispenses to limit frost and moisture
• Failure symptoms can include the ice door not opening/closing, frost or condensation in the chute, air leakage at the dispenser, or clicking from the dispenser area
