Scott S Frisco , TX November 11, 2014 Horrible and loud noise when motor/pump was running I was able to pull the entire basket/pump/motor assembly out from inside the tub I did not pull the DW out of the cabinet. I did not remove/disconnect the water line or even have to disconnect/cut power. I only removed the drain tube and drain pump. The rest came out from inside the tub. Much easier than I anticipated. Could hear the motor buzzing, so thought either the motor was bad or jammed. Watched online videos to determine how to remove the pump motor. Once the motor was removed, I also saw that the chopper was broke. I ordered both parts, they were in stock and arrived two days later. 20 minutes later, the dishwasher was again functional.
