Description

This is a small wax motor actuator used in the detergent dispenser or diverter mechanism of a dishwasher. It uses a heat-sensitive wax element that expands when heated to mechanically open or close a valve or latch. Replace this part if the detergent dispenser fails to open during the wash cycle or if the diverter is not directing water properly.
