Description

This agitator mover is the upper auger section of a dual-action agitator. It ratchets in one direction to drive clothes downward for proper turnover, helping restore effective wash action when the original mover is worn or damaged. What it does:

• Creates the one-way, ratcheting motion of the agitator's upper section
• Helps circulate and roll laundry downward for thorough turnover
• Common symptoms of failure: weak agitation, top auger not advancing, clicking/slipping sounds, or visible cracks/stripped splines
• Needed after damage from overloading or long-term wear

• 1 agitator mover (upper auger)

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and turn off water before servicing
• Remove the fabric softener dispenser and agitator cap; take out the center retainer/bolt to access the mover
• Lift off the old mover and seat the new mover fully on the agitator
• Reinstall the retainer/bolt and cap; verify smooth ratcheting action before use
