Keller M Franklin , TN October 20, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher MDBH980AWS1 Lights on front panel one by one stopped working till all lights went out and no button functioned I tried cleaning the ribbon cable connecting the front panel to the control board and that didn't help. I agonized over whether the power supply was bad or the control board or the front panel control... ended up making educated guess after looking at other question/answers on the appliancepartspros site. Thankfully it was a good guess to replace front control panel. Works like new now. Very easy to replace. William H White House , TN June 17, 2014 Appliance: Model MAYTAG MDBH980AWB45 The front panel on my dishwasher went out the start button simply would not respond to a press I called Sears Repair first. I thanked him and sent him on his way, $55 poorer but much wiser. I ordered the panel from you for $150. It arrived the next day--I was stunned! I dissassembled the door as the repairman had shown me (avoiding the live wires he had pointed out) popped in the replacement, and had the dishwasher running in 20 minutes. I just needed a screwdriver with two attachments (#20 star and 1/4" hex?). My wife assisted by holding the dishwasher door down while I worked on the panel.
