With extended use, a control panel can deteriorate to the point of becoming inoperable. If the control panel is cracked, damaged, or no longer responding to commands, it will need to be replaced. Unthread the mounting bolts that secure the panel in place and proceed to snap the control panel out of its mounting brackets.
