William L Bohemia , NY November 02, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Dishwasher MDB6600AWQ Dishwasher would not start Out of the blue, my dishwasher would not start. I checked power to the machine and I had power, so I then removed the inside backplate and started to investigate. I found a door latch assembly handle that was cracked off and thought that might be my problem, and the handle had to be replaced be replaced anyway to be functional, so I did that. After replacing the door latch assembly handle the machine ran for one cycle, and then would not start again. I spoke to your representatives through your chat feature, and they told me it sounded like I was having a control panel issue not allowing the machine to start. I ordered the control panel for my machine and it arrived 24hrs later, the very next day. The replacement was very easy if you're even the slightest bit handy. I did the 20 minute replacement and closed the door, and bingo my machine was fixed and all the lights became operable and it started right up. Thanks so much for your advice and input, and helping me repair my dishwasher. Your customer service was great, and shipping was immediate.
