Was able to get partial operation by holding cable between keypad and controller in a certain position. Found a failed trace in cable but was unable to repair. Laura B Moravia , NY August 10, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Dishwasher MDB8751AWS Display board no linger worked on maytag dishwasher mdb8751aww Replaced it. There are you tube videos showing how to do this. This has had to be replaced several times, this model is defective such th a moisture gets on the thin cables and corroded them. The fix worked! I put some silicone caulk around the edges to try to prevent this happening again. Dishahwasher is 8 years old, I'm happy not to have to replace it as the interior and exterior are in excellent condition. Also saved a bunch of money.part cost c $130, to have a repairman come and do it, over $300. New comparable dishwaher $600 or more. Always glad not to send something to the landfill before I need to. Brian M Franklin , IN January 25, 2015 Top panel burnt out Turned off the power to the unit at the main box. Removed the inside door panel with Allen wrenches and removed the old panel with matrix drivers. Unplugged the two cables behind the "brain" box. Reversed the order to put it all back together. Turned on the power and fired up the dishwasher. Wife is happy to have her washer back and I'm glad to spent a quarter of the cost to buy a new one! Read More... I ordered #6-919830 and They sent 6-919831 stating it was the superseding number. It was not even close. The two parts were totally different in physical shape and size. A wonderful customer service rep named Sheba, went the extra mile to find me the correct part and shipped it out right away. Now my dishwasher is back in operation. Read More...
