Whirlpool 6-919839 Panel- Con OEM Part

Took a gamble that it was the control panel. Ordered it and installed it in 10 minutes. Now it works fine.

I don't know how hard it would have been to do all by myself. It appeared we had to take out all the screws on the inside of the dishwasher's door, so we did, and then the 2 parts wanted to keep closing up, so that's why it was good to have 2 people, to have one person keep them apart. Taking out the screws also disassembles the door lock from its place as you go. You'll have to remember to layer things back in properly in that area (assemble the door lock back in). There is only 1 ribbon cord you have to disconnect once things are opened up. You have to be mindful, when you are putting the new panel on, that there are some clips built into the piece that you have to situate on the door. It's not difficult, just don't forget them. You have to have good lighting because it is not easy to see to get the end of the new ribbon into the slot where it needs to go. Just gently coax it in and keep nudging it to make sure it can't go any further. Re-position all the things to be held in place by those door screws, make the polyester batting smooth. Close up the door sections and put the screws back in, but don't tighten down too much -- don't want to crack the plastic surface materials. Important: before you start make sure you have the right kind of screwdriver! It is unusual, a starburst design, and I didn't have one. My helper did, fortunately. Maytag QuietSeries 300 dishwasher is functioning again.

I tried the control box first is was the cheaper part..my luck it didn't fix the problem. Bought the Control Panel from ApplianceParsPros..took me about 30mins and Dishwasher is running good as new..

The control panel and locking mechanism were replaced with ease. Removed a few screws and the old parts. The replacements fit perfectly and work exactly as intended.
