Alice M Willis , VA September 14, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Dishwasher MDBTT50AWW My diswasher stopped working no lights no action Two years ago (2012) my Maytag 2005 dishwasher stopped working, no lights, no action, nothing. A new dishwasher would have cost around $700. After research, I determined the control panel had failed. A new control panel from AppliancePartsPros fixed my problem for $130. A new, easily installed control panel, brought it back to life and it worked perfectly until almost exactly 2 years later (2014) when the lights started faltering, and then the diswasher completely stopped working again. This time a new control panel for $143 did the trick again and now my dishwasher is up and running again. I love the fact that I could find out the problem and fix it on my own, however, the next time the dishwasher will have to be replaced. It's nine years old now and a new control panel is like putting a new heart in an 90-year-old body. But thanks for helping me kick the can down down the road a little farther.
