Larry B Menomonie , WI June 02, 2014 Appliance: Whirlpool 1.7 Cu Ft Microwave WMH32517AB2 No responce to any keyboard selection no change with selecting "cancel" or power down / up display showing "f2e1 keyboard" Replacing the Panl-Control assembly resolved the problem, The tech manning the phone (actually a female) was helpful in selecting the correct part. for my model of Whirlpool microwave. (WMH32517AB-2) .The ribbon connecting the Panel to the keyboard was new to me. Must be careful to observe that part of the ribbon goes to one side of the contacts and part to the other and all is is held by a black nylon clip. All and all ,a fun experience The microwave was just 6 days beyond the repair warranty of one year and the repair cost by a Sears tech would have been greater than the replacement cost which is pretty sad.
