Description

This fold-down tine pivot for the lower dishrack acts as the hinge and latch for the adjustable tine row. Replacing a worn pivot restores stable loading and allows the tines to flip up or down as designed. What it does:

• Supports and pivots the fold-down tine row on the lower dishrack
• Holds tines in either position to accommodate different dish loads
• Common symptoms: tines won't stay upright, adjustable row detaches, cracked or missing pivot
• Helps prevent dishes from tipping during wash cycles

• Disconnect power and water supply to the dishwasher for safety; remove the lower rack
• Release the old pivot's locking tabs and slide it off the rack/tine row
• Align the new pivot with the rack wires and tine row; snap securely into place
