Description
This planetary gear assembly drives the agitator/inner transmission components in compatible top-load washers, restoring smooth rotational motion and reliable agitation for normal wash cycles. What it does:
- Transfers motor torque through the transmission to the washer agitator for proper wash action
- Helps restore smooth, even rotation and reduces slipping or erratic agitation
- Commonly replaced when you hear grinding, clunking, or when the agitator fails to rotate normally
- Works with the washer's gearcase/transmission as part of the drive train
What's included: One planetary gear assembly. Install notes:
- Replacement requires disassembly of the washer transmission/agitator; refer to your model's service manual
