Sandra M Lanett , AL October 20, 2020 Appliance: Whirlpool Ice Maker GI15NDXZS0 Not getting enough water The parts ordering process was very easy and we received our parts the next day. While it turned out the parts weren’t needed, a part of me thinks they have still helped our situation. What our problem turned out to be was a water filter on the incoming water supply was apparently used up and resulted in practically stopping the water supply. We removed the filter and the water flowed freely resulting in ice like we haven’t had in a very long time. Be advised, this was NOT the filter inside the machine. It was an external filter we had to use because we are on well water and the water had a lot of silt initially and had done some damage to some of the machine parts early on. By putting the external filter on the water supply, it helped the situation, however, the well has settled and we feel the filter is no longer needed. Happy to have ice again!
