Description

The push-to-start switch activates the dryer motor when you press the Start button. Replacing it restores dependable starting with one press.

• Completes the start circuit to power the motor when pressed; spring-returns when released
• Restores normal operation when the original switch is worn, stuck, or electrically open
• Symptoms include: dryer won't start, starts only while button is held, intermittent starting, or no response when pressing Start
• Mounts in the control console behind the Start button/knob; connects with spade terminals

• Disconnect power to the dryer before servicing
• Remove the console/trim as needed to access the switch; pull off the knob if present
• Note wire positions (take a photo); move wires to the new switch one at a time and secure
