Mike S Erlanger , KY July 04, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Dishwasher MDB8600AWQ Wheel broke on rack adjuster assembly I ordered the rack adjuster assembly. I only needed the wheel, not the entire assembly, and when I recieved the assembly, I found the wheels are now riveted on, not held there by screws. The assembly was a perfect replacement, You will need a small star bit (T10) to do replacement. Part arrived in two days. This is the second time I've ordered parts from AppliancePartsPros.com...great company. Kirk L Atlanta , GA April 01, 2014 Broken rack wheel (plastic snapped) I was disappointed that I had to buy the entire rack adjuster assembly just to fix the wheel, however changing out the the assembly was extremely easy. It took maybe 5 minutes and only required a hex screwdriver. Read More... 9 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
Fred D Sun City West , AZ October 27, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher MDBH965AWW40 Broken plastic axle on rack adjuster in an amana dishwasher Replacement arrived very quickly! I took the old adjuster off, looked at all the parts since I had not done this before. In trying to assemble, I put the height lever on the wrong side--It kept falling out--so I put it on the other half, where it did fit. I screwed it all into place, but the top part wouldn't fit together. Finally I took it all apart and used only the T shaped bar with the wheels. That did work. I think it would be far better, and easier, if the wheel assembly was sold alone. Overall, not a hard job, without any directions. I did see step-by-step directions on another site, but I didn't use them. Read More... 3 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers

Kelly L Woodland Hills , CA June 03, 2017 The wheel on the left side of the upper rack broke This was a really easy fix. But you def need the right tool to unscrew the hexagonal screws from the old. And to put in the new (with the old screws). I have an electric drill with the right bits for that and this was really just a question of taking off the old piece and putting on the new. Once I figured out which tool/bit to use, it took maybe 5 minutes and works perfectly. :) Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
