Karen H Crossville , TN March 30, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Dryer WED9050XW0 Loud squeaking noise I went online and typed in my model number. I was just going to order the dryer belt, but decided that changing all the movable parts at the same time would be best - I definitely recommend doing this, since it was the tensioner pulley and not the belt. My husband is handy, which is why this was not a problem. The whole dryer needs to come apart in order to do this repair. At first I thought I received the wrong parts because I have a front load washer and dryer set, but the picture on the front of the instruction sheet didn't look anything like my dryer. The parts were actually perfect. We watched the "how to" video which was much better than the instructions. Patience is a requirement and it helps to have an extra person close by.
