Description

This rack adjuster assembly restores secure support and adjustable height for the dishwasher's upper rack. Replacing a worn or broken adjuster helps keep the rack level and sliding smoothly for easier loading and consistent wash performance. What it does:

• Supports and locks the upper rack at the selected height
• Allows smooth in-and-out movement when intact
• Helps prevent the upper rack from dropping, tilting, or feeling loose
• Common failure signs: rack won't raise/lower, falls off track, binds or feels rough

• One rack adjuster assembly

Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the dishwasher; shut off water supply
• Pull out the upper rack and remove end caps/stops before lifting the rack off the rails
• Release the old adjuster's locking tabs and install the new assembly in the same orientation
• Reinstall rack stops and test rack height adjustment and movement before restoring power
