John M New Haven , VT November 24, 2017 Appliance: Model MAYTAG MTB2156GE Rollers broke off the drawer glides in my refrigerator so drawer would fall out when extended Popping the old draw glides off was the toughest part of the job, ad even that was fairly easy, once I noticed the little retaining tabs near the front of the drawer. Pushed in on the tabs, while pushing back on the drawer glide rail and it popped right off. One minor problem I did note: When the rollers were installed on the shoulder screws, they would not turn. One roller just had a burr around the inside edge of the hole. The other the entire bore was a bit undersized, creating a snug fit. I used a 15/64" drill bit to open up the holes a bit - didn't even put the bit n a drill, just twisted it through by hand and ran it back and forth a few times. This allowed the rollers to spin freely on the shaft. (I supposes a round file might accomplish the same thing, if you had one small enough - like one used to sharpen a chainsaw.) One tip: the Phillips head screws look as though they would take a #1 Phillips screw driver, but this would not grab the screws for me. A #2 Phillips worked well, if the bit was in very good condition (not chewed up). Entire process took about 30 minutes total to do the drawer glides on both sides. It would have taken only 15 if I had not had to find my drill bits and ream out the holes in the rollers.
