Description

This is the refrigerator door mullion, also called the flipper rail. It creates the vertical center seal between the fresh food doors, helping reduce air leaks and condensation so the doors close smoothly and temperatures stay consistent. What it does:

• Swings with the left door to cover the gap between the French doors and seal against the opposing gasket
• Helps minimize warm air infiltration, condensation, and frost at the center post
• Restores proper door closure when the original rail is cracked, bent, or has a failed hinge/spring
• Common symptoms: loose or dangling center rail, doors popping back open, moisture/sweating at the center, visible cracks or broken tabs

Install notes:
