It was not a very difficult repair.. most of the parts were easy to get to. The biggest challenge was disconnecting the gas hose from the regulator. It had "pipe dope" (sealant) on the threads. Vincent S Arcadia , IN January 29, 2017 Propane valve on oven failed Pulled old valve out from behind stove. Replaced with new one from Appliance pros. The one thing you MUST watch out for when doing this is to switch out the gas orifice. Propane burns much hotter than natural. The new valve had a natural gas orifice. We swapped out the larger for the smaller orifice... stove now works like new . the only complaint is the packaging. One of the plastic clips got broken in the mail. The part wasn't wrapped at all.
