Whirlpool 12002126 Dryer Front Drum Glide Kit OEM Part

The root cause was the front glides. They were virtually gone, and the drum was on metal to metal. So I replaced them with a front glide kit. I also replaced the belt, rear rollers, and lint screen. I am happy to say all the parts fit perfectly, and I couldn't find a better price anywhere else. I will definitely keep you on file for the next time I need appliance parts! Thank you! Sincerely, pw

Replaced the drum roller wheels and the nylon drum glides.

Un plugged dryer. It was an easy fix, popped the top up. Removed the two screw that held the front on and also unclipped the door switch. Released tension that was on belt and removed drum. Removed old front slides cleaned up area and replaced them. Popped the ring that held the rear drum wheels and placed the new ones with a dab of grease. Un hooked tension spring for idler and removed old one and put the new one in. Make sure you place it through the correct hole and it makes it firmly into the end hole. Replaced drum put the belt back. Attached the front, places the door switch back and closed the lid. Plugged it back in and fired it up! All the parts were correct and worked like a charm.
