Mark B Louisville , KY December 08, 2014 Appliance: KitchenAid 30" Free-Standing Designer Style Convection Oven KERC608LSS0 Oven not heating First replaced the thermostat. That worked for one use. I called an appliance repair person. They came with two common parts that fail. The thermostat and the oven sensor probe. They tested the thermostat I installed and it was good. They then spent an hour testing everything else. Everything else tested good. They kept coming back to this relay. So after an hour they packed up. Said sorry they could not fix but said they would order the relay and return to install. They did not charge me for the service run. Never heard back from them about the part. So I ordered the part from appliance parts pro's, installed the part, the oven now heats properly. The relay is on the right side panel. Remove two screws from the back of the panel and one screw from the inside. Inside screw requires the removal of the bottom drawer. Slide panel to front of the oven to release.
