Description
The Push to Start Switch is an OEM component designed for Whirlpool electric dryers. Located on the control panel, the start switch initiates and stops each drying cycle upon button depression. Its electronic components coordinate power to the drum motor and other functions.
Symptoms of a bad start switch include:
- The dryer failed to start despite selecting the settings
- Inability to cancel or pause cycles in progress
