Description

This start relay (EMB) energizes the compressor's start winding so the refrigerator can begin cooling reliably. Replacing a weak relay can resolve hard-start clicking and restore consistent operation when the compressor struggles to start.

• Delivers initial power to the compressor's start winding, then disengages once the motor is up to speed
• Supports reliable compressor starts and reduces repeated start attempts
• Common symptoms: clicking from the compressor area, rising refrigerator/freezer temperatures, compressor starts then stops after a few seconds, or heat damage on the old relay
