Toan N Anaheim , CA June 24, 2018 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL GD25DFXFW01 Evaporate motor went out on my Whirlpool refrigerator freezing cold at the bottom but warm on top When I first found out that the evaporator fan doesn't work, I went to a local home appliances store to buy one , cost me $40 , real easy to replace it and it solves the main problem , but this evaporator motor was making some loud noise every now and then , especially when we open the door too often. Then I ordered another one from Repair Clinic , this one is even worst , making a loud hum noise constantly, I had to return it. My wife really wants to buy another refrigerator but I don't give up since I know for sure my Whirlpool frig is a good one, all I need is a good evaporator motor. Finally, thank you so much for the one I bought from AppliancepartsPros.com. The evaporator motor I receive comes in box stating : Whirlpool Factory certified . Replaced evaporator motor, grommets, and retainer. Old issue was that the ground prong on the new motor was in a slightly different place, but cables were long enough to fit.
