Description

This tub ring, also called the tub cover or splash ring, snaps around the top of the wash basket to contain water and suds. Replacing a cracked ring helps stop over-the-rim leaks and protects fabrics from rough edges.

• Acts as a splash guard at the rim to keep wash water and suds inside during wash and spin
• Provides a smooth upper edge to help prevent fabric snagging on broken plastic
• Restores a secure seal at the tub opening when the original ring is cracked or warped
• Typical signs of failure: water splashing or leaking from the top, visible cracks, or the ring not locking firmly to the tub

• Disconnect power and turn off water before servicing

• Release the old ring's locking tabs; transfer any attached retainers/hoses to the new ring if present
