Michael G Renton , WA December 05, 2015 Two fo the burner retaining clips had broken and one of the burners was malfunctioning It went very easily. The two original clips were riveted in the top but a small drill bit cut the last of the rivit free and the clips remainders just fell out. There was no damage to the stop top. The butner simply snaps in to its socket so that was easy to replace. Pulled the old one out and put in the new one. Allen K Esko , MN September 26, 2026 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Range RF365PXXN0 Old broken cooktop clip on The part is small and required good manual dexterity using very small Phillips screwdriver and a small clamping needle nose pliers to hold the nut. Smaller hands would help and I had to add a special washer for my situation, which took time to create. Otherwise should have been easier but my prior attempt to repair using old broken clip had damaged opening some. Read More...
