Whirlpool WP10450603 Cabinet Roller OEM Part

I contacted Appliance Parts Pros' wonderful (comprehensive and accurate) website, to search for the part. I located the part, so I ordered it and received it within 4 days, which is also an advantage of using Appliance Parts Pros. Upon arrival of the part, I had to grind off one end of the river that acts as a hub for the wheel to turn on. Then I slipped the the plastic wheel, that I received from Appliance Parts Pros, onto the rivet and welded it to the metal cage it fits onto. Finally I placed the metal cage with the welded rivet and freely rotating wheel onto the bottom of the refrigerator. Then re-leveled the fridge with the front and back leveling screws, located on the front of the bottom of the fridge. The welding was done by my friend whom is a welder.

The rear rollers took less than 5 mins each- tilt the frig against a wall, unscrew the single hex head bolt one at a time just behind each roller, when the frame drops down slide the pin out, replace the roller, and reinsert that bolt. Done. The front roller is a little tougher, in hindsight I'd recommend replacing the entire adjustable assembly; it's more expensive but much easier. To replace the roller alone I had to work the bucked end of each roller axle down to the same diameter as the axle so it could then slide out of the housing and a new roller put in place. Re-mushrooming that end of the pin is a challenge once the roller is in place, but not insurmountable just time-consuming.
