Description

This safety switch actuator engages the door/interlock switch so the appliance senses a closed, secure door and will run as intended. Replacing a worn actuator restores reliable door engagement and control-system signaling. What it does:

• Moves the door latch into position to trip the appliance's safety/interlock switch
• Ensures the control board senses a closed door so cycles can start or continue
• Common symptom: appliance won't start or stops when the door is shut or nudged
• Common symptom: door won't fully latch or feels loose when closing
