Description

This evaporator cove seal is the replacement gasket that helps keep the evaporator compartment sealed for efficient cooling and proper defrost drainage. It restores the evaporator cove barrier to help maintain temperature consistency. What it does:

• Seals the evaporator cove to limit air exchange between the evaporator area and the fresh food/freezer compartments
• Helps direct defrost water to the drain path and reduce water pooling inside the appliance
• Reduces frost buildup and cold-air loss around the evaporator area
• Commonly replaced when you see frost/ice buildup, interior water leaks, or uneven cooling
