Not sure if it was a bad part or bad install. It started leaking water a few months later and making a scratching noise. This time I ordered original parts from appliance parts pros: clutch and shaft/tub seals. The "how to" videos were extremely helpful. Now it runs quiet and dry. P.S. I tried using channel locks to remove the tub nut but ended up having to get the proper spanner wrench. I went on youtube and followed the instructions to take the washer apart which was simple and replace it the broken parts. Brent P Dayton , OH November 18, 2017 Appliance: Kenmore Washer 11023012102 Leaking water on the floor from underneath Removed the cabinet. Checked hoses water pump traced where machine was leaking from. Deternined it was coming from the area of the tub seal. I contacted Appliance Parts Pro and ordered the tub seal. The seal arrived in a timely manner. So i finished removeing the neceasary parts to get access to remove and replace the tub seal.put machine back together. Works like a champ now. My first repair on a washing machine. The people at Appliance Parts Pro made the experience much easier with quality parts and informative repair videos.
