Description

Genuine Whirlpool OEM moisture sensor bar for electric and gas dryers. Works with a second sensor strip to detect humity/moisture as clothes tumble past. The control board reads the signal to determine remaining moisture and ends the cycle automatically at the target dryness level — preventing over-drying and reducing energy use.

  • Cycle ends too soon — clothes still damp  
  • Dryer won't shut off — runs continuously
