Description

This is a defrost sensor with an integrated thermal fuse, used to monitor evaporator temperature during the defrost cycle. It signals the defrost heater to turn off once the evaporator reaches the correct temperature, and the built-in fuse provides backup protection against overheating. Replace this sensor if the refrigerator is building up excessive frost on the evaporator coils, running too warm, or if the defrost cycle is not completing properly.
