Jeffrey M Hope , NJ February 01, 2016 Appliance: KitchenAid 30" Built-In Electric Thermal Convection Combo Oven KEMS308SSS00 The glass plate stopped turning in our kitchen aid microwave oven I removed the Shaft by just pulling up on it. I noticed the flat sided hole on the bottom of the Shaft was damaged and a small piece of it was missing. By using a mirror and a pair of tweezers, I was able to remove the small broken off piece of plastic from the hole in the middle of the bottom of the oven. The Shaft still would not turn the plate because of the damage. I ordered the new part and installed it, and everything now works fine.
