Description

• Converts line voltage into high-voltage pulses for the surface igniters to light gas
• Sends spark when a burner switch calls for ignition; multiple electrodes may spark together by design
• May help address: no spark on all burners, intermittent or weak spark, burners that click but won't light
• Continuous rapid clicking can also occur with a failed module or wet/stuck burner switches

• Disconnect electrical power and shut off gas before servicing
• Access the module under the cooktop/top panel or behind the control area; label or photograph wiring and move leads one at a time to the new module
• Mount the new module securely in the original location; ensure all connectors are clean, dry, and fully seated
• Restore power and test each burner for proper spark and ignition
