Robert H West Orange , NJ April 29, 2017 The door spring on the left side of the diswaher had broken Shut off the power, shut off the water, removed the kick plate, disconnected the water line and drain line. Had to lower the front leveling feet because we had a new hardwood floor put down after the dishwasher was put in. Pulled the dishwasher out just unhooked and hooked on the new springs, put everything back together and pushed the dishwasher back in. Read More... Alex H Beacon Falls , CT January 17, 2017 The dishwasher door fell down! After making sure the power switch was off I removed both shelves and all the screws holding the washer to the side cabinets. There was enough slack in the drain and water supply hose allowing me to slide the washer out from the cabinets giving access to the broken spring. There are 2 of them but only 1 broke along with the nylon bracket which is attached to the cable. Simply hooked up the new spring and cable while comparing the hookup to the other spring and viola!
