While getting ice from the dispenser, it didn’t stop when I wanted too but emptied the entire ice bin. Thinking it was a broken Paddle or spring, I ordered them both. PERFECT! They were ORIGINAL parts. After taking the unit apart and out, I discovered nothing was broken--- just loose motion of the SWITCH being taped in and DIRTY CONTACTS. Now we’re back in business with a good switch and spring for the next 15-20 years. I reckon I should’ve dismantled the whole unit to begin with. ( my first time without being a service tech.
