Description

This is the stator for the washer's direct-drive motor. The stationary coil generates the magnetic field the rotor uses to spin and agitate the basket, restoring smooth, reliable drive performance when the original windings fail.

• Works with the rotor to spin the basket and drive agitation
• Failure symptoms can include no spin, no agitation, or the basket not turning
• Intermittent or weak spin performance can also indicate a failing stator

What's included: 1 stator assembly Install notes:

• Disconnect power and turn off water before servicing; allow components to stop moving
• Access from the bottom of the washer; remove the rotor cover and center bolt, then lift off the rotor (strong magnets—handle carefully)
• Unplug the motor harness, remove stator mounting bolts, and note wire routing/orientation
• Install the new stator evenly, tighten bolts in a crisscross pattern, reconnect the harness, then reinstall the rotor and cover
