Terry H Columbia , MO May 31, 2018 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL GH5184XPB-5 Microwave turntable motor overheated and melted tray coupler Obtained the replacement motor and tray coupler from Appliance Parts Pro. Video of the typical replacement was very helpful to show what to expect and how to replace the motor and coupler. The removal of the bottom plate was held in place by several phillips screws. The motor was attached with two torx screws. The electric connection clips to the motor required needle nose pliers to pull them off. The tray coupler was simple to install after the motor was secured and bottom plate was replaced.. The glue lasted two days, so I glued it again and it held until the new part arrived. Too hot in microwvave for epoxy glue. The part was ordered on a Friday night and arrived the next Tuesday.
