Description

This ignition switch controls spark to a gas range burner so burners light reliably when a knob is turned. Replaces a worn or failed switch to restore normal ignition and consistent burner operation. What it does:

• Sends the electrical spark signal to the burner igniter when the control knob is turned
• Allows the range to ignite burners; a failed switch can prevent sparks and burner ignition
• Works with the range's safety/ignition system to enable proper start-up sequencing
• Helps eliminate intermittent sparking or no-spark symptoms linked to a faulty switch
