William F Teutopolis , IL March 08, 2017 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL GLASS TOP RANGE Electric burner control switch Turn the power off to the range. Pull off the black control knob. Remove 6 - 5/16 screws in back of the range behind the controls panel. Take out 2 screws (behind the control knob) in front that hold the control swirch in the panel. Remove each wire from the old switch and place it onto the new switch (one at a time)so get the wires are installed in the correct place. Make sure the wire are tight on the new switch. Install the new switch, put the two mounting screws in, reinstall the back, put the knob on and you are finished.
