John K Johnson City , TN May 04, 2015 Compactor would not stop This took 2 orders from Appliance parts. First had to replace reversing switch. I had a loose door handle, which I attempted to repair. This was a temporary fix. A couple of weeks later compactor would not stop again. This time ,I could not turn it off with buttons. I assumed I had switch problems. I order new part, and got a new handle to be sure. As usual parts were here in 48 hrs. or less. Popped in ,and all is well. I love these guys. They have or will find most things you need. They have saved me a lot of money. I usually buy the upper end of appliances without many electronic gadgets. It is a little more expensive in the beginning. ,but usually is repairable and cheaper than replacing. Fixed Whirlpool Gold trash compactor for less than $200. Replacement was $875.
