Description
This pressure switch senses and signals the washer's water level so the machine fills and cycles correctly. Replacing a failing switch restores accurate water-level sensing for consistent wash performance. What it does:
- Monitors tub water level and signals the control board to start/stop filling.
- Helps the washer advance through fill, agitate, and drain cycles based on detected water height.
- Common symptom: washer overfills, underfills, or fails to advance cycles.
- Works with existing pressure hose and wiring harness to relay air pressure changes.
What's included: One pressure switch. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and water to the appliance before beginning any work.
- Note and photograph hose and wiring positions before removal to ensure correct reinstallation.
- Inspect or replace the small pressure hose if cracked or clogged; ensure a tight, leak-free connection.
