Description

This water level pressure switch senses the tub fill height and tells the washer control when to stop filling, helping prevent overfill and incorrect water levels. It's a direct-replacement switch used in many top-load washers. What it does:

• Detects water level via the pressure hose and signals the control board to stop or continue filling
• Can cause overfilling, underfilling, or a washer that won't advance through cycles when failed
• Restores correct water-level sensing when replaced with a matching OEM switch
• Works as part of the washer's water-management system—not a standalone valve or pump

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and turn off water before servicing
