Whirlpool W11417619 Water Level Pressure Switch OEM Part

The error code indicated the washer wasn't getting any water, although the basket was filling to an unusually high level. After checking the inlet hoses and their connections but without opening the top cover to see the actual water level pressure switch, I went ahead and ordered the part. After receiving the switch, I opened the cover and found the original switch had fallen off it's mounting (for who-knows how long ago) and was resting against the drum. Over time, the movement of the drum wore a hole in the hose where the hose attaches to the switch. I clipped off the end section of the hose, attached it to the original switch, and reattached the switch to the washer with a cable tie. With the help of the error code, any monkey could have seen what the problem was and fixed it without buying any parts. I'm saving the new switch I bought as a reminder to always measure once / cut twice. (or is it "measure twice / cut once")

I called appliance parts pros and told me to replace the water level pressure switch first. But that one didn’t fix the problem. Still giving me LF error code, so I replaced the water valve. That fixed the problem. I could have saved $50 if I didn’t replace the water level pressure switch, but that’s ok at least I didn’t need to pay somebody to put it in and it’s an easy fix. It took me like 10 minutes to remove and put the parts in. It just took me a long time to clean my tiles, where the washer sits. Thank you appliance parts pros.

With the help of the videos. I replaced the pressure sensor and the water inlet sensor. Couldn’t have been any easier. Noticed a huge difference with the next load of laundry.

Using info supplied by others connected to this site found only error codes stored were F30 i had my doubts upon a second componet possible causing certian issues at other times, i was in a hurry to head to work, So I ordered a Dispenser Mtr assy, on Wednsday ordered std delivery I expected 2-days Poss 3. The next day Thursday again with info from this and another site I confirmed 2nd componet was erratic on passing diagnostic test. So I ordered 2nd componet a pressure sw. Knowing now unless ordered overnight delivery most likley would not get 2nd part and poss even 1st part untill Mon-Tues of folling week, Again head to work on day-2. Unknown to me untill my wife called latter thur 1st part arrived thur, Well Friday morning like approx 1030 am I was attempting to explain to my wife why I could not get washer running until next week, when a Fed/X truck pulled in, she said maybe your part, I replied not likely, Turns out sure was a press sw, Went to work on reinstalling both components, which were identical to my old ones, put machine threw 3-different wash cycles and washer ran like new once again, no erratic start/stop issues, even though I did not pay nor did I expect to recieve parts fast, which I did thanks Appliance part pros, Don Camden NY
