Catherine A North Oaks , MN September 03, 2018 Appliance: Model KITCHEN AID SUPERBA Ice machine was making too much ice it was running nonstop Ordered a new level control sensor probe and installed it. Had to remove a number of screws to get the old one out and insert the new one. They did not look alike so I was a bit worried we had the wrong part but it works great. Now our ice machine fills the bed in to the leveler and stops running until the ice falls below that line. Found site that had lots of repair info and was able to make a good guess about what might be wrong. Found exactly the parts I needed at Appliance Parts Pro, they shipped them immediately and I had the machine repaired sooner than I could get a repairman out and probably saved $100's!! Read More... Mine read open circuit. Purchased new thermister, and replaced it. Now the harvest cycle works correctly. Thick cubes, continuous operation, no ice bergs in the freeze plate.
