David G York Springs , PA July 17, 2019 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL LTE524DDZ2 Whirlpool Thin Twin mod LTE5243DZ2 dryer ran but was not creating heat I checked the continuity on the thermal fuse (which was blown) and knew that it needed to be replaced. This leads me to believe the spring inside had failed, so I replaced this thermostat as well. Put it back together and it is working like new.
