Whirlpool 4387562 Refrigerator Temperature Control Thermostat OEM Part

I simply removed the two screws securing the control box in place, disconnected the two wiring harnesses and removed the entire assembly from the refrigerator. At the work bench, I then removed the three wires and control knob from the thermostat and popped it out of the control box. I just reversed the procedure to install the new thermostat.

New thermostat/cold control.

Just replaced the thermostat. Didn't have remove anything from the fridge to access it. Hardest part of the install was wire was run under the defrost timer and had to remove that to remove the thermostat. Defrost timer was held in place by 1 way clips which were a pain to take out.
