Whirlpool 4389248 Freezer Temperature Control Thermostat OEM Part

I ordered a new thermostat one morning and received it the next morning by FedEx, talk about fast service! I replaced the thermostat that afternoon and the freezer has been working good, holding the temperature at zero or 2 below and cycling OK. Thank you for the good service. Floyd Pramberg Jay, OK

Sometimes, the freezer would get to the end of his freeze cycle, the thermostat would turn off, and then it would just not turn back on. I could tap the control box in the freezer and it would come back on and work for awhile, until the thermostat would stick again, which might take a day or a couple weeks. I suspected the thermostat. I ordered a new one. The directions were a little confusing, so I just ignored them and just replaced the thermostat, wiring it like the old one. Easy to replace. Working like a charm right now. The thermostat knob did not fit perfectly, but fit well enough to work and to stay. I am satisfied with it. Kenmore Coolspot upright Freezer 1068254982.
